ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Christian hip-hop artist and ordained minister TRU-SERVA teams with One Step Moore, De La Cruz and Xay Hill for the new single "Don't Knock It," available today through Trans4mation Records and distributed by FUGA.

Built around hope, truth and the transforming power of Jesus Christ, "Don't Knock It" challenges listeners to look beyond assumptions, disappointment or negative experiences with religion and consider what it means to encounter Christ personally.

The song speaks to those who have tried countless ways to improve their lives while stopping short of complete surrender to Jesus. Rather than approaching listeners with condemnation, the track extends a direct invitation: before dismissing Christ based on past experiences or outside perceptions, genuinely seek Him for yourself.

Its central message is captured in the defining lyric:

"With Jesus, I'm good."

Through honest storytelling, "Don't Knock It" explores destructive decisions, private pain, substance use, violence and the moments when people reach the end of their own strength. The song ultimately points toward the presence and grace of God as the source of transformation, restoration and a new way forward.

The collaboration also broadens that personal testimony into a message for communities. Its call to reject violence, care for others and live differently challenges believers to become visible examples of the hope and change they proclaim.

Featuring One Step Moore, De La Cruz and Xay Hill, "Don't Knock It" brings together several distinct voices around a shared conviction: God meets people in their pain, remains present through every valley and offers grace powerful enough to redirect a life.

"My hope for someone who might be skeptical about Jesus is that they would look at our lives and see the transformation that has taken place through a relationship with Him," TRU-SERVA says. "We've all experienced pain, struggle and acts of violence. It doesn't always change what happens to you, but it changes how you respond to it. We can be healed from our trauma and redeemed from our past."

The release continues a significant season of momentum for TRU-SERVA. His previous single, "Somethin' On The Inside," spent eight consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Christian Music Weekly Rhythmic chart.

Meanwhile, "Put In Work" featuring Steven Malcolm is currently being promoted to Christian radio, with early support from NGEN Radio, ChristianHits.Net and additional Christian rhythmic and hip-hop outlets.

Together, these releases are building toward TRU-SERVA's forthcoming full-length album, 30, scheduled for August 30.

The album represents a defining chapter in TRU-SERVA's journey, bringing together music, ministry, testimony, collaboration and the faithfulness of God across multiple seasons of his life. "Don't Knock It" contributes to that larger story by inviting listeners to move beyond surface-level perceptions and consider Jesus personally.

The rollout will continue July 30 with the official "Don't Knock It" lyric video and the launch of the 30 album pre-order. TRU-SERVA will then release "Always Look to God" featuring Mike Teezy on August 14 before the full album arrives August 30.

"Don't Knock It" was written by Marcus Montana, Ben Moore, De La Cruz and Isaiah Hill. The track was produced by Marcus Montana and Casey Golden, with Golden also handling recording, mixing and mastering. Jamie "Sweet T" Nicholas created the cover artwork, while Marcus Montana and Maverick Montana served as executive producers.
