NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The popular and long-running "Song Revolution" podcast, showcasing host John Chisum's heartfelt and insightful conversations with Christian recording artists, worship leaders and songwriters, is making the leap to the small screen this weekend. Joining Cornerstone Television Network's fall programming lineup, "Song Revolution with John Chisum" will premiere Saturday, September 5 at 3:00 pm ET and 10:30 pm ET with "American Idol" runner-up and genre-spanning singer/songwriter Clark Beckham as the TV series' first guest.

A total of 13 brand-new "Song Revolution" episodes are set to debut on Cornerstone Television this fall. Welcoming a diversity of voices in Christian music and beyond, Chisum — an award-winning singer/songwriter and founder of Nashville Christian Songwriters — also sits down with worship pioneer Don Moen; Dove Award-winning composer and producer Tommee Profitt; beloved songstress Kathy Troccoli; acclaimed singer/songwriter and worship leader Meredith Andrews; "The Voice" winner Jordan Smith; and Broadway actress and singer Laura Osnes, among others.

"Having the opportunity to bring the creative people I interact with daily to the world through this show is one of the most fulfilling things I could ever do," shares Chisum. "We've been podcasting since 2017, but leveling up to television brings exciting new dimensions to the people and music we love so much. Each guest has a unique angle on creativity, songwriting, and the music they make. I hope viewers will see that behind every song is a story, and behind every story is a real human songwriter who lived some part of that song."

"I'm so grateful to David Tucker and the entire Cornerstone crew for this opportunity to share how we glorify Jesus through the gifts and talents of these creators," he continues. "Our mission at Nashville Christian Songwriters is to empower Christian artists and songwriters worldwide, so this partnership is getting us one giant step closer to doing just that."

"We are thrilled to be picking up 'Song Revolution with John Chisum,'" states David Tucker, director of programming, Cornerstone Television Network. "The content is fresh and goes deeper than most with John's keen music insight to ask the compelling questions needed for an engaging interview."
