The Wait cover
06. Come As You Are
Album: The Wait
Artist: David Leonard

Bring every doubt and fear
Bring all the shame you hide
Cause I've been waiting, longing to take it
And break every lie
Even the darkest nights
Even when hope seems gone
No matter the distance, you need to know this
That I won't let you go

So come as you are
Come as you are to Me
You're never too far
You're never too far away
So come as you are
(He-ey, he-e-eyy)
(He-ey, he-e-eyy)

You can find rest in Me
You can find hope and peace
It's something to cling to
Daily it meets you and it started today

So come as you are (He-e-hey)
Come as you are to Me (He-e-hey, he-e-hey)
You're never too far (He-e-hey)
You're never too far away (He-e-hey, he-e-hey)
So come as you are (He-e-hey)
Come as you are to Me (He-e-hey, he-e-hey)
You're never too far (He-e-hey)
You're never too far away (He-e-hey, he-e-hey)
So come as you are
(He-ey, he-e-eyy)
(He-ey, he-e-eyy)
(He-ey, he-e-eyy)
(He-ey, he-e-eyy)

New mercies awaken the heart
Awaken the spirit
Awaken the soul from death
New mercies awaken the heart
Awaken the spirit
Awaken the soul from death

So come as you are (He-ey, he-e-eyy)
So come as you are to Me (He-ey, he-e-eyy)
You're never too far (He-ey, he-e-eyy)
You're never too far away (He-ey, he-e-eyy)
So come as you are (He-ey, he-e-eyy)
Come as you are to Me (He-ey, he-e-eyy)
You're never too far (He-ey, he-e-eyy)
You're never too far away (He-ey, he-e-eyy)

New mercies awaken the heart
Awaken the spirit
Awaken the soul from death
New mercies awaken the heart
Awaken the spirit
Awaken the soul from death
So come as you are
So come as you are, mm
