#1. Switchfoot
untitled
Release Date: Summer 2009
 |
So we didn't get another album from these seasoned veterans in 2008. And breaking away from their major label
was a daring move, to say the least. And maybe Oh! Gravity. wasn't their strongest work, but
none of that is hindering our resounding anticipation for Switchfoot's long-awaited seventh record.
With a grand track record behind them, Oh! Gravity. is likely just a bump in the road. March 24
cannot come soon enough...

Switchfoot has been a personal favorite since the days of Legend and with a hits record under their belts,
a deal with Credential and freedom from Columbia, extended time off to record a new album that has been long in
the making should prove fruitful for the San Diego five. Can't wait for Switchfoot's next chapter...

It seems like it's been several years since Switchfoot's last album, Oh! Gravity, in late 2006.
Switchfoot has brought so many tunes in the past that are undeniable favorites like "Circles," "We are One Tonight,"
"Twenty-Four," and "Meant to Live." It would be nice to hear this band go into a new direction, yet, still remain
the great band we currently know and love today...
