#7. Children 18:3
untitled
Release Date: April 2014

I don't think it's too premature to say that Children 18:3 is one of finest bands of Tooth & Nail history. I took these siblings for granted all these years, and now they're already on their final album? Children 18:3's Kickstarter campaign to fund their final album ends on February 17, so if you haven't contributed yet, the Hostetters are worth the investment. Call me sentimental, but I'm glad it'll be a long goodbye.

This trio's quirky debut won me over almost instantly. It's still an enjoyable listen and the two subsequent albums have also been rewarding experiences. In a time where it seems like some of the more exciting acts in music are hanging up their instruments and calling it a day, the news that this is the fourth and final album is a sad one, but I'm excited to see where the Hostetters take their swan song...

Recently independent, Children 18:3 returns for one final album, the encore to their storied career. For years, they've shown everyone that Christian music can be anything you want it to be, and if their previous work is any indication, this release will be their best one yet.
