For our 10th annual Highlighting feature, we split the year into TWO pieces -- January to June and July to December. Each list contains 10 artists/releases for a total of 20 in total for 2016. So, without further ado, we give you Highlighting Second-Half 2016! -- Please keep in mind that any artists that placed in the First Half (like Skillet, Paper Route and winner House of Heroes) won't be re-listed here!

#10. Propaganda
Crooked

Release Date: Late 2016
I don't think any other artist forces his listeners to think as critically as Prop. He provokes and prods us in uncomfortable-but-necessary ways. He performs with a passion bigger than his life. He demands attention when he speaks, no matter the topic. You all need to listen to what he's gonna say on Crooked.
        - Mark Rice

There is no one in the game like Prop; simple as that! The Humble Beast artist is most unique and this is one of the albums of 2016 that I am anticipating more than any other; it’s gonna be amazing!
        - Kevin Hoskins

Propaganda is a treasure of an artist. He's someone who is as fierce as he is intelligent, as insightful as he is in-your-face and as compassionate as he is funny. He has the ability to speak to issues as seemingly as unconnected as the state of public education, the Black Lives Matter Movement, odious prosperity gospel preaching and the lives of the Puritans. Prop weaves together narratives that show the interconnected nature of life, and the creator who cares about it all. All of it is set against innovative beats and samples and fiery rhetoric. Propaganda's two albums are a must listen primer of how a believer can speak to the issues of our day in perceptive and astute ways. Again, he's a treasure.
        - Alex Caldwell
