"Rivers of Living Water" is the debut single from up-and-comer River Dew. The burgeoning singer/songwriter writes quiet songs that remind me of the Psalms, as they focus on the peace and faithfulness of God. "Rivers of Living Water" features tranquil guitars, minimal percussion, and the soothing sounds of a babbling brook and some birds chirping in the background. It's the kind of single I'd listen to in a hammock on a Hawaiian beach as I thank the Lord for life and salvation. River Dew's vocals are ethereal and a little echoey, bringing Michelle Tumes' song "Lovely" to mind, and her lyrics are simple, yet filled with gratitude. "Rivers of Living Water" may not make a massive impression on the music industry, but it's a pleasant song that would make for a great addition on a quiet time playlist. Check it out!
