Behind the Song:
The late Pope Francis declared 2025 a Year of Jubilee -- a year of grace and hope. In the Bible, a "jubilee" was a year of release for the captives of slaveholders and debt, and at the beginning of his ministry, Jesus proclaimed a grand jubilee from the captivity of sin and death. This song is full of my hopes and prayers for this year, and all years that lie ahead.
