Make Over cover
01. Do What Jesus Said
Album: Make Over
Artist: Eileen Howard

Do we want a greater peace?
Do what Jesus said.
Do we want a better world?
Do what Jesus said
Is there danger in our streets?
Are some politicians cheats?
War and violence must cease.
Do what Jesus said.

Do I want a sweeter home?
Do what Jesus said.
A family with more love and joy?
Do what Jesus said.
Is my household full of strife?
Angry husband, angry wife?
Do I want a better life?
Do what Jesus said.

If I want to be forgiven
Do what Jesus said
If I want a greater blessing
Do what Jesus said
Give to others, do not hate
Mercy, justice, clean the slate
For the weak ones advocate
Do what Jesus said

Mournful (Blessed are they)
Merciful (Blessed are they)
Generous (Blessed are they)
Humble (Blessed are they)
Peaceful (Blessed are they)
Prayerful (Blessed are they)
Caring (Blessed are they)
Do what Jesus said

Love your God and love your neighbor
Do what Jesus said
Love your enemies and bless them
Do what Jesus said
Take the blows and give back love
Give your jacket and your glove
Love each one with God’s own love
Do what Jesus said
Do what Jesus said
Do what Jesus said.
