Lyrics:
(Verse) It’s so typical, It's such a shame the way I push, you down again, Like I'm innocent, Breaking all the rules, Just to shock and outrage, You played the fool, I took it out on you,
(Pre-Chorus) But I swear this will be the last time,
(Chorus) I'm at the edge, Fading away with just seconds left, Trying to make it, If I could only learn, How much it hurts you, Get out, get out, cause I'm headed For a break down.
(Verse 2) It's so difficult, It's all the same, the way I let you down again, Playing the victim, Breaking all your rules, With nothing left to lose, I took it out on you.
(Pre-Chorus) (Chorus)
(Bridge) The love and hate in me collide, I'm killing the enemy inside,
Headed for a break down. (x4)
Behind the Song: How we hurt or push away those that are important to us, because of past fears we aren't able to let go of. Then when we feel like we let God down, we think about just going over the edge and breaking all the rules. We tell God to get out before we do more to disappoint. But in the end, the love of God and from God that is inside of us overpowers the hate and negativity…and the enemy is eliminated.
