Your flower is withering

I can see it in your eyes

Your frame is quivering

From too many failed tries

And when the night begins

The truth becomes disguised

You want out but you’re stuck within

Waging wars on the inside

Open your eyes

The pain you feel is temporary

Don’t compromise

I know someday you’ll see the other side

It’s hard to see the stars

When your head’s down in the dirt

And when your heart’s ajar

The small things start to hurt

“Where are you?”
