“In Him was life, and the life was the light of men
And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it”

Hear me

Do not let the darkness overtake you
Instead let the Light of God shape you
Do not let the darkness overtake you
Instead let the Light of God shape you
Do not let the darkness overtake you
Instead let the Light of God shape you
Do not let the darkness overtake you
Instead let the Light of God shape you

Aye look I need more of God
I don’t really care if this music taking off
Cause it don’t mean a thing if my soul lost
Eternal damnation, can you pay the cost?
I ain’t think so
I didn’t think so...
Nah

Do not let the darkness overtake you
Instead let the Light of God shape you
Do not let the darkness overtake you
Instead let the Light of God shape you
Do not let the darkness overtake you
Instead let the Light of God shape you
Do not let the darkness overtake you
Instead let the Light of God shape you

I got trouble in my flesh
Interrupted in my head
I’ve been drowning in my thoughts
Trying not to doubt God
I know He can do it all but I often doubt myself
I’ve been praying for the confidence to overcome myself
Look the opposition grows as my story unfolds
It’s like David and Goliath except I got thirty giants
My mustard seed Faith doesn’t push trouble away
But when I seek God He puts mountains in their place

Listen

Do not let the darkness overtake you
Instead let the Light of God shape you
Do not let the darkness overtake you
Instead let the Light of God shape you
Do not let the darkness overtake you
Instead let the Light of God shape you

Yeah found out love is a fragile thing
Funny thing is that I’m fragile too
And even in the midst of my depression, second guessing I still love you... Too
Aye I know love is such a fragile thing
And funny thing is that I’m a fragile too
Even in the midst of my depression, second guessing I still love You
I know You love me too
I know You love me too

That’s why I love You
