I don’t wanna be like mike
I just wanna be like Jesus
Everybody spends their life
Looking for things to complete them
I don’t wanna be like - you
I don’t wanna be like - you
I don’t wanna be like - me
I just wanna be like Jesus

Aye stop the comparing me
They hate all my lyrics but love all my melody yeah
They misunderstanding me
Aye give me a second to give you some clarity yeah
I don’t wanna be like Drake
I don’t wanna be like Michael
Kendrick or Cole
None of them died on the cross for my soul
I’m giving the credit where credit is due
Stay in your lane and do what you do
Are you focused on money or fame, being like Christ or being like you?
I just wanna ask the question
A lot of rappers tip-toe a lot
I’m just being who I was called to be
But I still gotta grow a lot
Glory to God

I don’t wanna be like mike
I just wanna be like Jesus
Everybody spends their life
Looking for things to complete them
I don’t wanna be like - you
I don’t wanna be like - you
I don’t wanna be like - me
I just wanna be like Jesus

Aye stop the comparing me
I’m wonderfully made and super unique
My baby on fleek
My God is The King
Been living by Faith
Forget what we see
I never been perfect
I never will be
Until Jesus comes
I patiently wait
He’s written my story in glory
I’m innocent, filled with the Spirt
Don’t care what they say
Don’t care what they say
Judging my planks
They can’t see they got a tree in their eyes
Jesus Divine, and He is the Vine
I’m just a branch, I’m bearing my fruit
There’s no disguise, I just abide
Why would you hide when you can’t hide
Why would you lie when you can’t lie
Why am I running when I can just fly
Hidden in Christ
