Seasons come and go, But I always look forward. So much changes, and yet stays the same, but we keep moving onwardBut once you have little ones, all bets are off the table. That’s when you start feeling the unavoidable ,Winds of change. It’s unstoppable, the way time races faster and faster. You can’t stop it, so just don’t blink. Iremember the first time I ever held you in my arms. You precious, so beautiful, so small. Then I blink, Then you’re crawling, then you’re running, Then you’re driving right into my sunset, but your sunrise. There’s no cats or cradle nor no silver spoons. I simply close my eyes and see the time flashing in front of me, relentlessly. And I think to myself, I’m not on this earth for much longer, so remember: Don’t blink it doesn’t last forever (nothing lasts forever).Don’t blink it. doesn’t last forever. We are all slaves to our phones,They keep us away from what matters most. As I take a look at myself in the mirror, it’s a familiar stranger, with many scars and wrinkles. staring back at me. How these changes come so unexpectedly. The winds are gusting , I feel it, I accept The winds of change. this aint a rehearsal, and life’s ain’t eternal. so take your best shot, give it all you got. As I get older The years feel shorter, and yet my boys - they’ve grown so much taller. so i wouldn’t want any of it back, grateful for the life I’ve had make it last where i can but keep an open hand, in these winds of change.
