Behind the Song:
"I was driving through the mountains with a close friend of mine near Winter Park, CO. He was in town from Atlanta and we were headed to do a ski retreat for a group of college students. I said, “Hey, let’s pray that God will give us a song this week.” We began discussing what God was teaching us. I had been learning a lot about the Holy Spirit and His role in our lives. I was reminded of the scripture in Genesis that says the Spirit of God “hovered over the darkness of the waters,” and in John, chapter 20 when Jesus was in the upper room and He breathed on the disciples and said, “Receive the holy spirit.” I said, “Let’s write a worship song inviting the Holy Spirit to breathe on us.” God answered our prayer that week!" - John Waller
