Before the Daylight's Shot cover
04. The Blessing
Album: Before the Daylight's Shot
Artist: Ashley Cleveland

Wrestle with the angel, walk with a limp
It’s all for the blessing now
Night is falling and your day is spent
All for the blessing now

Wrestle with the devil that’s a losing game
Baby run for the blessing now
He’ll come back to you by a different name
Run for the blessing now

Chorus:
Run into your fears where every dream has disappeared
Destiny is waiting here, do not be denied
It’s all for the blessing, all for the blessing now

Wrestle with the angel, wrestle alone
Wait for the blessing now
Tumbling water gonna make a new stone
Wait for the blessing now

Wrestle in the dark when he won’t give his name
But you know what it is
Find it in the beauty of the crucible flame
See his face and live

Chorus:
See into your fears where every dream has disappeared
Destiny is waiting here, do not be denied
It’s all for the blessing, all for the blessing now
