Before the Daylight's Shot cover
08. I Need Jesus
Album: Before the Daylight's Shot
Artist: Ashley Cleveland

I want clean air; I want a piece of land
I want to tell the truth, do my share and work with my hands
I want to live, live in peace with everyone I know
I want my kids close to me; I want to let them go

Chorus:
I need my Lord, I need Jesus

I want enough sleep and a roof over my head
I want to be free; I want to live like the bible said
I want to speak and I want to sing; I want to be heard
I want to say what I mean without so many words

Chorus

I want to love my man; I want to grow old with him
I want to run the race at hand; I want to run it to win

Chorus
