To you ooohhh
To you ooohhh
To you ooohhh
There's a lot of me that I don't care for
A part of me that I can't get rid of
It's taking over everything that I want to be
And everything I see is fading fast
And all the things I have, well, they won't last
Yet, they're taking over everything that I want to be
'cause I'm in love with all the wrong things
I've got to give this up
I've got to give this up
I've got to give this up
I've gotta give it over
I've gotta give it over to
You, ooohhhhh, to you, ooohhhhh
Just a breath away from letting go
And there's a brighter day that brings me closer
To everything that You have ever wanted from me
You give and take away just to show
That You're my great escape, my only hope
Yet You're everything that I have ever needed to see
'cause I'm in love with all the wrong things
I've got to give this up
I've got to give this up
I've got to give this up
I've gotta give it over
I've gotta give it over to
‘cause I’m in love with all the wrong things
I’m in love with all the wrong things
To you, ooohhhhh, to you, ooohhhhh
I've got to give this up
I've got to give this up
I've got to give this up
I've gotta I’ve gotta
I've gotta give it over
To you, ooohhhhh, to you, ooohhhhh x3

Behind the Song:"We love to love.
The human loves to love. In fact, it’s in our DNA to love. The things we fall in love with often times makes total sense, like that ‘special someone’ you’ve spent your life looking for, or the children that you’re able to parent, or maybe something more trivial like a hobby or a sport. Those things fit logically into the idea of love. But there can be a problem with love. Sometimes we fall in love, but with the wrong things. These would be the things that go against the nature and character of God. Examples of such could be major addictions, or wealth and success for the glory of making much of you. To add another layer of interest, sometimes it is good things we fall in love with that end up being the wrong things. For example, if school or work becomes so consuming to you that it takes more of your time than your walk with God, it has potential to be an idol for you. God has you in school and work for the glory of His Kingdom, not for your glorying in your own achievements. Perhaps the most dangerous are really good things, like church. If we make our church life about religious duty or moralistic therapy and behavior modification, then we’ve fallen in love with the wrong things. Living a life of faith has many bumps in the road. Hopefully this song can encourage us that when we fall in love with the wrong things, we will let them go and give them up." - Rush of Fools
