You want to run, but you’re too afraid to leave
You said you have faith but not enough to believe
Back and forth you go back and forth again
It wears you down and it ties your hands
No more running
Search is over
Your salvation
Has brought you back to life
Chorus
Child wipe your tears away cause Jesus
Cares for you
He knows you’re hurting and all you’re going through
Won’t you try just test your faith and see
You’ll walk the oceans and believe He’s right there by your side
Oh child
Out of place is where you find yourself without a trace
You send an S.O.S. for help
No more running the search is over
Your salvation has brought you back to life

Behind the Song:'In some ways last year was a struggle for me. One night as I was lying in bed I sensed God speaking to my heart saying, “I’ve called you to be more than a survivor, I’ve called you to be a conqueror. Survivors get through, but conquerors break through.” This song was written for me and everyone else who struggles through the process of working out our salvation. We find a place that’s comfortable and we want to camp out there because we know it can be painful to move forward. But I don’t think God tends to use campers the same way He uses climbers. “Child” is God’s invitation to climb up to the next level.' - Michael Tait
