Nashville, TN (March 26, 2009) ---- One of Christian music's most popular bands, Rush Of Fools, has broken the Top Ten on Billboard’s mainstream AC chart this week! The song, “Never Far Away,” was re-recorded by the group as a duet with Jim Brickman. The tune was selected by Brickman for his new CD from Time Life, Ultimate Love Songs: The Very Best Of Jim Brickman. The single is also on Rush Of Fools’ latest project, Wonder Of The World, and the song was co-written by band members, Wes Willis and Kevin Huguley, along with co-producer, Jason Ingram.
Rush Of Fools is right behind Gavin Rossdale on the Mediabase chart, as he is positioned at #9, and joins other superstars in the Top Ten that includes Taylor Swift, Coldplay and Daughtry. “Never Far Away” was released in mid-January and has been one of the fastest rising songs on the chart after reaching #10 within eleven weeks. Major radio airplay for the song includes Delilah, KVIL/Dallas, KRWM/Seattle, WASH/Washington, DC, and KOSI/Denver.
