Nashville, Tenn. May 4, 2011…. Two time GRAMMY ® Nominee Mandisa has landed her first No. 1 single with “Stronger.” The song which took the No. 1 spot on the AC Indicator chart this week is from her latest album, What If We Were Real.
“’Stronger’ makes such a great connection with our audience,” comments Mike Prendergast, Program Director for KLTY/Dallas. “The lyrics plus the tempo, energy and positive message, make this song the perfect fit for our station.”
Inspired by the belief that surviving hardship makes us more resilient, the tune sums up the past year of Mandisa’s life. “More than anything, having ‘Stronger’ go to No. 1 tells me that the message struck a chord with audiences that need to know that God can bring beauty from ashes,” adds Mandisa. “It means more to me than I can express.” To hear more about the song, and watch a performance visit http://www.godtube.com/watch/?v=FBF00CNU.

News, Extra, Good Morning America and Headline News, Mandisa has continued with her full touring schedule with Women of Faith and “Girl’s Night Out” with Anita Renfroe. The tour will continue into June. For Mandisa’s latest tour dates, visit www.mandisaofficial.com.
