Debuting in the Top 10 for the second consecutive time, The Devil Wears Prada sees their new record Dead Throne (Ferret), the band's first full-length since 2009, claiming the #10 spot on this week's Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart with more than 32,400 copies sold - an impressive jump from the 25,000 copies their last release brought to its first chart appearance
In addition, Dead Throne came in at #3 on both the Top Current Rock Albums and Top Hard Music Albums charts, and #1 on the Independent Current Albums chart.
But the success for Dead Throne doesn't stop there, as the album has received stellar reviews: "[Dead Throne] is a standout..." "...everything one could want in a new album from TDWP..." "...epic metalcore..." "With 'Dead Throne,' the band has taken a real step towards making themselves future kings of the metal genre..." "easily the metalcore album of the year..." "it's hard to top the mighty roar TDWP has concocted on its fourth album and heaviest yet..." among them.
Following the band's first headline run of Australia, The Devil Wears Prada will kick off "Dead Throne Tour: North American 2011," their 36-date trek that starts November 3 in Milwaukee and criss-crosses the U.S. and Canada over a six-week period.
