Former Forefront Records pop/rock act Smalltown Poets are back with a brand new release, titled Smalltown Poets Christmas, set to release independently from the band on November 1st. Some Christmas presents just can't be kept under wraps! We're excited to let you know that you can stream the entire new Smaltown Poets Christmas record right now by clicking HERE. Not only that, for the next two weeks we're making it available for the special pre-release download price of $5. You'll find the album in all the regular online stores like iTunes and CD Baby on 11/1/2011, but we just couldn't wait any longer to let you hear the music. Please share the link with your friends to help us spread the word about the new album!Recording a Christmas album is something that we've talked about since the band's beginning. It's been a special journey for the original five Poets, spending the last year writing and recording together again. It was also a real thrill to work with producer and "sixth band member" Matt Goldman at Glow In the Dark Studios in Atlanta.
We'll be doing about a dozen Christmas concerts across the Southeast and Midwest in December, some with our friends Echoing Angels from Atlanta GA, and some with the band Elishah from Western N. Carolina. We think you'll love them both, so please check out their music online as well. Concert dates will be unveiled very soon at www.smalltownpoetschristmas.com.
