Detroit, Michigan, 8/31/12 - Dove Award winning band THE INSYDERZ began a Kickstarter campaign to fund “The Sinners Songbook” in early 2012. The success of the campaign lead to a recording session at Rust Belt Studios in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Fans from all over the world contributed generously to the effort. Reese Roper (FIVE IRON FRENZY) and Mojo (O.C. SUPERTONES) lend guest vocals to the title track. Reese Roper raves “It's your best album! I'm so proud of you guys.”
The new independent full length was produced by Eric Hoegemeyer. It features 10 originals, three cover songs, and two “skalleluia” signature worship songs.
The new songs are clearly written from the heart, many lyrics coming from the sufferings and trials of the band members personal lives. Drummer Nate Sjogren says, “I was thinking about why I love the new album so much. It embraces the depravity of man, the idea that we are all in this boat together... and it is sinking. And no matter how hard we try, we cannot ever save ourselves or each other. But then enters the lavish love of God and everything changes... This album is anthems of God's grace, we declare together, in full voice, that we indeed need a Savior. Confident that we are not capable of any good on our own. We celebrate our dependence on God, day by day, minute by minute...and the best part: God is faithful.”
THE INSYDERZ will be playing their hometown record release party with FIVE IRON FRENZY at the Royal Oak Music Theatre (Royal Oak, MI http://www.royaloakmusictheatre.com) on Friday, November 16, 2012
