Anyone who contributed to the Kickstarter campaign for a new album from rock legends Guardian last year have been rocking their new album Almost Home since January of this year. However, those who haven't have only been able to check out a few of the album's key singles. Come July 15th, the band will be releasing the full album to iTunes and make a few CD copies available online via their website.
In an announcement to their Kickstarter backers this evening, the band stated, "Almost Home will be publicly released on 7/15 via iTunes and other digital outlets. We will also be offering a very limited number of physical CD's on 7/15 directly through our website: houseofguardian.com."
About the delay between its Kickstarter release and worldwide release, they explained, "We wanted to wait a while before releasing the album publicly so we could be sure that our Kickstarter backers had all received their pledge rewards first." They closed by expressing their gratitude for support, "Thanks again for your support. We've been thrilled and grateful for the positive response that the album has received so far. None of this would have happened without you!"
If you don't have it yet, check out Guardian's big return on July 15th!
