Nashville, TV--Derek Minor premieres his latest single “Astronaut” today on Rapzilla. The song featuring Deraj and Byron Juane is now available at online retailers. On the track produced by OB and DJ Pez, Minor uses astronaut as a metaphor to describe his determination to excel despite hurdles, rapping, “I been feeling like they been trying to hold me down … But everytime I fall I never touch the ground / I keep blasting off like a astronaut.” Reflection Music Group artist Deraj reps for the squad on the second verse and Bryon Juane continues the theme, closing the song with soulful adlibs. Last month, Minor released 1990s-inspired “Fresh Prince.” Connect With Derek Minor
