JASON GRAY RELEASES REMARKABLY TIMELY DISORDER EP TODAY

EP’s First Single, “Remind Me You’re Here,” Is a Prayer For God’s Presence During Suffering

“Disorder is when our order falls apart—maybe through a relationship that breaks down, or a job loss, or even a global pandemic” – Jason Gray

Centricity Music recording artist Jason Gray releases today (March 20) Disorder, the second volume of his three-part album, Order Disorder Reorder. The six-song EP is available now at digital retail and streaming outlets globally through https://jasongray.lnk.to/disorder, and features the Top 25 Billboard AC Indicator chart hit single “Remind Me You’re Here.”

Where part one of his new album, Order, released amidst acclaim Aug. 16, features the radio hit “I'm Gonna Let It Go” and explores topics “when things are more or less going the way you hope,” Gray’s Disorder is a group of honest, transformative songs about when order falls apart.

“I’ve believed the themes of Order Disorder Reorder were relevant and hoped that releasing the record in three parts over the course of a year would be meaningful, but who could’ve predicted the release date for Disorder that we decided six months ago would end up being so relevant,” questions Gray, “the very week our whole world is upended by a microscopic virus that is casting a tall shadow over all that we care about?

“If there's anything we've learned over the last week, it's that life will bring some storms that we just can’t hide from,” continues Gray. “Sometimes the only way out is through. But as a person of faith, I believe that we don’t face it alone.

I see the trouble standing before me
Like a mountain, it’s like a mountain
My spirit trembles under its shadow
I can’t escape it, Lord help me face it…
I need You to lead me through
Walking before me, behind and beside me
I’m following You
The only way out is if You lead me through…

(Lyrics from the EP’s opening track, “Through”)

"I wrote the songs of Disorder hoping they could serve as handrails for people to hold on to in the storms of life, to help steady them as they walk through their difficulty on their way to renewal on the other side. And though it can be scary and painful, disorder is so often where we meet with God most profoundly and where he usually gets his best work done in us...”

These transformative songs on Disorder set the stage for the Reorder EP set to release later this year, when “we’ve all gone through hardships and came out the other side as wiser, stronger, more humble and compassionate versions of ourselves.”
