Even though KJ-52 is retiring his hip hop persona, he's not slowing down when it comes to making music. The artist formerly known as KJ-52 is launching a new Pateron project under his real name Jonah. The project is titled Faith > Fear and is aiming to be "an album of gospel soul samples." Check out his announcement below:

"I've always wanted to do an album of gospel soul samples.. reality is that due to sample clearance costs that would never be able to be released (due to copyright issues and the high financial cost of clearing samples).

However there no reason to not put it together for my friends and supporters exclusively on my patreon page (www.patreon.com/kj52) .. myself and long time collaborator Poetics are going to be teaming up to make that happen!

In full disclosure I've just recently lost 1000's of dollars in show revenue due to the coronavirus pandemic... my march shows have cancelled and this is what the majority of my peers are going through right now in the music industry.  We're all going to be stuck at home more w/ a lot more free time... I figured this was a good time to make this happen and offer something else..

ONLINE CONCERTS!   Yep... rather than "cursing the darkness" I'm going to "light a candle" and I'll also be doing exclusive online freestyle/music concerts on my www.patreon.com/kj52 page!

For those not familiar w/ patreon its a fan supported platform that allows you to receive exclusive content (in this case music, updates, podcasts, online concerts and more) in exchange for a low monthly $ support.

I have tiers starting at $1, 5.02, 10.00 & 52.00 that allow you access to various exclusive fan driven content.. think of it as a  fan club that gets you direct access to me."
