REDDING, CA – GRAMMY nominated, internationally renowned artist collective Bethel Music has announced their long awaited follow up to 2021’s Peace, Vol II. The new album, titled Simple, is a reflection of God’s grace and the joy in the simplicity of the life that He has given us all. It also serves as a reminder to step back and enjoy each day as it comes. Recorded in Redding, CA this past spring, Simple, features long time Bethel Music artists Jenn and Brian Johnson, David Funk, Emmy Rose, and Paul and Hannah McClure as well as newcomers John Wild and Zahriya Zachary. In addition, special guests Mitch Wong, Zach and Abby Vestnys, Sydney Allen, and Michaela Gentile round out the album. Simple is now available for pre-save/pre-order HERE.
In addition to announcing Simple, Bethel Music has released the first single from the album, “I Still Believe” which is led by Brian Johnson. In talking about the song Brian shares, “We had a bunch of things going on, the kind of things in life that challenge your faith which I think everyone can relate to.” The result is a moving testament of faith which speaks to the choice to hold on to the belief that Jesus will be with you always. Bethel Music has grown from being a local church music ministry to a global outreach made up of a collective of songwriters, artists and musicians. Jenn Johnson, President of Bethel Music, co-founded the collective along with her husband Brian Johnson in 2001. As a youthful label of 13 years, Bethel Music has broken records, ranking in CCLI’s top 25 songs for several consecutive years. “This Is Amazing Grace” has ranked in the top 25 since 2014, “No Longer Slaves” since 2015, “The Lion and the Lamb” since 2016, “Reckless Love” appeared in the top 10 since 2018, with “Living Hope” following closely since 2018, and “Goodness to God” landing at No. 1 for most of 2021and off and on for 2022. Hitting its stride over the last year, Bethel Music has continually ranked at #6 in the top 10 radio market share.
