Hip hop veteran emcee MotionPlus has crafted a project that pays homage to the golden era of hip hop. Antiquity reminds everyone that classic music endures the test of time.
The Illinois-based artist traces his roots in CHH back to his time with the Scribbling Idiots. His years of grinding have steadily built one of the most respected catalogs within rap’s underground. Now, as a part of the Polished Arrow Music collective, MotionPlus continues to hold steady to his call as he bridges the gap between the carnal world around him and the truths he has been entrusted with in the gospel.
Antiquity is an 8-track project that is produced by the acclaimed A-F-R-O and features the hit single “Eighties.”
Coinciding with the project’s release is the push of the record “Hearts & Homes,” which features fellow Polished Arrow member m1L, that has been met with widespread praise for its raw honesty and portrayal of relatable experiences.
