Top 15 One-Album Wonders

As music fans, we hear a lot of new music all the time from promising new artists. Some national debut albums really leave a mark on us, getting us pumped for the artist's career ahead. Sadly, some of these artists never even make it to album number two before they stop making music, break up, or just disappear.

This list is a countdown of our top 15 "One-Album Wonders" -- bands that released just one album before disappearing from the map for one reason or another -- leaving us to wonder what could have been with album number 2.

#13. Eager
Eager

Release Year: 1997

In the wake of the demise of PFR, bassist and co-vocalist Patrick Andrew formed his own new band a short time later, named Eager. Eager went on to release their one and only album in 1997, with Andrew sharing vocal duties this time with Greg Pope. The album was a great follow-up to PFR that offered a healthy mix of rock and pop rock and definitely had our interest for future projects (especially since we were really missing PFR). However, Eager wouldn't yield a follow-up album, but PFR returned in 2001 with a reunion album titled Disappear. And after the trio slipped into ambiguity yet again, Andrew would later pursue a solo album and another project called The Clover Forest with co-vocalist Molly Nass... leaving fans of Eager to wonder forever what a second outing would have sounded like.
