	25 of 25   #25. Abandon Control Release Date: April 19, 2011 Over the course of several EP's and a full-length release, Abandon have shown themselves to be a truly creative alt-rock act. Considering the low quality of many rock outfits that have surfaced over the last year, it will be nice to hear something solid and original from Abandon.         - Timothy Estabrooks Abandon’s first full album, Searchlights, was a good alt/pop rock album. The band's new one, Control, is even better.         - Nathaniel Schexnayder The idea that a band like Abandon, with such a solid alternative pop/rock debut, would shift towards a more pop/dance sound seems shocking. But they definitely pull off the transition flawlessly.
