#7. Lecrae
Church Clothes Vol. 3

Release Date: January 15, 2016
The best there is in CHH is back at it with a mixtape that simply cannot be denied. Lecrae is in the prime of his career and I expect nothing but amazing from Church Clothes 3.
        - Kevin Hoskins

Church Clothes 3 is a welcome surprise this year and further establishes Lecrae as an artist who can bridge the gap between the mainstream hip-hop community and common Christian household. His "real talk" on political and social issues is much needed in today's broken world. Lecrae sounds just as good in the "off-the-cuff" setting of a mixtipe as he does on his standard albums, which is a testament to his raw talent.
        - Christopher Smith

Lecrae has essentially become the voice of relevance in the entire Christian Music industry, and one listen to Church Clothes 3 will explain why. He discusses difficult and meaningful social topics with both passion and compassion and is making the Christian worldview more meaningful to more and more people by the day.
        - Mark Rice

Lecrae is indeed an anomaly. Following an acclaimed 2014 release with a surprise mixtape, Church Clothes 3, this Grammy Award-winning artist is operating at the top of his game with a guerilla mentality. To be sure, the bar has already been set extremely high for Christian hip-hop in 2016.
        - Jeremy Barnes
