The Bourne Identity was another great start to a memorable action movie franchise. While I'm not quite sure it was the best in the series (or my favorite), it was definitely a standout in the 2002 movie season.
"Last chance, Marie!"
Honorable Mentions: Signs is actually another highlight for 2002, but not one I'd probably revisit as often as
The Bourne Identity. I do love the Bible-study-ready themes of faith and purpose that
Signs offers, though. Another standout movie for 2002 is, again,
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, but the second one is probably my least favorite of the three, and begins to introduce some of the series' more annoying characters.
Monsters, Inc. was also a standout of 2002, and a hard one to not mention.
