(Background: Without the backstory, this song could also sound secular, however, it is about natural family planning. The difficulty of NFP is obviously the times when a married couple has to refrain. I'm not aware of any other songs that deal with this. There is nothing promiscuous in this song, this is a married man in love with his wife, but has to wait. He understands the life giving love, and knows his wife is not ready to have a child again at this time)
