When it rains, it may pour but I trust in knowing the One who calms the storm. So when tragedy comes my way like a violent, crashing wave, I will stand my ground and give You all of the praise because You deserve the glory. You alone are worthy. So break me, slay me, my God just don't forsake me. The shadow of death is cast out by the illuminating presence of my Savior so I have no reason to fear that which has lost its sting and I can come boldly before the throne of my eternal King. I will pour out my heart and every word that I could speak would only testify of the goodness I have found in Thee. So as the ground gives way and raging waters swell; I will not be afraid for with confidence I can say, it is well.
