Let it be Jesus / The first name that I call / Let it be Jesus / My song inside the storm / I’ll never need another … / For me to live is Christ / For me to live is Christ / God, I breathe Your name / Above everything / Let it be, let it be Jesus / Let it be, let it be Jesus / Let it be Jesus / From the rising of the sun / And let it be Jesus / When all is said and done / I’ll never need another / Jesus, there’s no other … / Should I ever be abandoned / Should I ever be acclaimed / Should I ever be surrounded / By the fire and the flame / There’s name I will remember / There’s a name I will proclaim / Let it be, let it be Jesus / Let it be, let it be Jesus / Let it be, let it be …

Behind the Song:“When you write a song versus [learning] a song that someone else wrote with you in mind, it’s sort of like birth versus adoption. A friend who’s adopted told me, ‘It actually isn’t natural, so it takes the supernatural for you to bond with that child… Humans have to lean on the supernatural.’ So it’s the same for me with songwriting when something is birthed out of my life. [It’s different when] someone just literally hands you a song saying, ‘We wrote this, and we totally hear you singing it.’ And then you hear it, you analyze it, and you’re like, ‘What about this made them think of me?’ It just takes a while to learn a song and then for it to seep into who you are. With ‘Let It Be Jesus’ it’s the same [thing]. It [became] something that Jesus [was] like, ‘You’re adopting this. This is something that I birthed from someone else, but it was for you.’ It’s so beautiful. I’m always just taken back [by] how God does that.”
