Who can compare to You, my King / Who can compare to You, my Lord / Who can compare to You, my Friend / I looked and I found / That there’s no one like You in all the earth / You take my hand and You guide me on / You show me the way to life / You lift my head and You give me hope / You show me the way to life / No one compares to You, my King / No one compares to You, my Lord / No one compare to You, my Friend /
I looked and I found that You’re the one / I needed all along / You are the way / You are the truth / and You are the life

Behind the Song:“My friend, Molly, who sings on this record and has sung at Passion for the last several years, brought me this song. I think for women [it’s a good reminder] when everything’s just kind of haywire, and you’re in a crazy, crazy place; or maybe you’ve got little ones at home and you’re feeling completely overwhelmed. I love that picture of being able to shut your eyes for a second and just go, ‘You take my hand / You lead me on, and You show me the way to life.’ There’s beauty in learning even inside of a marriage that when you’re wanting something from your husband; when you’re looking at your husband as stability and something you can set your heart on, he’s a man, [and he will] disappoint every time. But when you’re looking to God to guide you and show you the way to life, the Spirit releases your husband, and then [he’ll] start doing and saying the things that you actually desire to hear all because you’re looking to Jesus. That’s what my husband wants me to be doing—looking to God to fill every need in my life. When that’s happening, he ends up filling the needs that a husband’s supposed to fill. It’s like when you’re looking to God to show you the way to life, you’re not sucking the life out of your husband. I think about that when I think about women singing this song.”
