It’s easy to get a little overwhelmed
Nobody plans to break
It’s heavy and it’s hard to ask for help
But don’t hide behind the pain
Let it all go
Let it all come to an end
We can start over again
You’re not broken
There’s just things I wanna mend
We can start over again
Sometimes healing
Looks like nothing you would choose
Feels like you’re in reverse
I’m redeeming all the things you had to lose
But I know it hurts
Let it all go
Let it all come to an end
We can start over again
You’re not broken
There’s just things I wanna mend
We can start over again
Oh, we can start over again
You don’t have to be afraid I’m right here, I’m right here
You can cry, it’s okay
I’m right here, I’m right here
I won’t let go
When it all comes to an end
We can start over again
You can trust me
It’s alright, catch your breath
We can start over again
We can start over again

Behind the Song:"This is probably the most personal and vulnerable song on the album. We wrote this song when my co-writer Mia Fielde’s, sister, Darna, and myself, were both in really hard seasons of healing. We both love Jesus and didn’t want to be in the place we found ourselves in. We both felt broken. While talking with Mia and Ben Cantelon, our other co-writer, I started sharing the process I found myself in and said, “I have too much history with God bringing deep healing into my life to stop trusting Him now, but I wish I could go back and start over.” At that moment the song was born. This song is for every person who has ever found themselves feeling like they are broken or moving backward. When a hard season takes your breath away and comes out of nowhere. When loss and healing are so closely knitted that it’s hard to tell if you’re moving forward. It’s written from the narrative of God speaking to us. Reminding us that He doesn’t see us as broken, but He does long to repair or heal anything that needs mending. He will return what has been lost and stolen. We are safe with Him. He sees our struggle and pain. He loves us and is with us through it all. He wants to be a part of the journey and even the hardest, most painful moments of our lives...the ones where we’ve been wronged or are in the wrong, don’t escape His love and redemption. If we allow Him into the process, together we can always start over again." -

Matthew 11: 28-30 (ESV) “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
