Behind the Song:
"Time is Running Out" was written with the intention of it being the first song on the album, a song that makes a big musical statement and works as our mission statement at the same time. The sound and lyrics let people know what our music is about and why High Flight Society exists from the very beginning. We feel called to make music that spreads the teachings of Jesus Christ. It’s a calling that takes us far from the comfort of our homes and loved ones in order to share this message with as many people as possible. However, each passing day reminds us that we only have a certain amount of time to carry out this responsibility, and also that time is running out for those that are lost. There are a lot of hurting people being fed fear and lies day in and day out that hold them back from making a change in their life.
