Born To Worship cover
04. Not Quite Home Yet
Album: Born To Worship
Artist: Sarah Kelly

No wonder we feel like we don't really belong here
No wonder we feel like we don't really belong here
No we're not home yet
We're not quite home

We're not home yet
We're not quite home

Come now spirit come now truth
With all my heart yes I welcome You
Enter boldly, no room for fear
Join in angels so loud and clear

Behold and adore
The King of Kings, Lord of Lords
Behold and adore
The King of Kings, Lord of Lords

No wonder we feel like we don't fit in here
I said, no wonder we fell like we never really ever fit in here
No we're not home yet
Thank God we’re not home yet (don't You worry now)
We're not home yet
Just not home

Come now spirit come now truth
With all my heart yes I welcome You
Enter boldly, no room for fear
Join in angels so loud and clear

Behold and adore
The King of Kings, Lord of Lords
Behold and adore
The King of Kings, Lord of Lords

Come now spirit come now truth
With all my heart yes I welcome You
Enter boldly, no room for fear
Join in angels so loud and clear

Holy, holy is the Lord almighty
Holy, holy is the Lord almighty

You are my bright morning star
You are my bright morning star

Behold and adore
The King of Kings, Lord of Lords
Behold and adore
The King of Kings, Lord of Lords

No wonder we feel like we don't really belong here
No wonder we feel like we don't really belong here
No we're not home yet
We're not quite home

Behind the Song:
"This is another song that started to form within me in my youth....the chorus "behold and adore"....I remember trying to write what His return might sound like. Thinking of all the kinds of praise that may be going on, starting with the Spirit, "behold and adore, King of Kings, Lord of Lords", then the angels "holy, holy is the Lord Almighty" and finally the Bride "you are my bright morning star". This was the 3rd choir piece I wrote, but it wasn't until just recently that the whole song came together. The whole concept of grace has become so real and stunning to me because, well, I needed it! All at once it hit me that Grace will lead me home! This isn't home; home will start when He returns. So this song is a bit like a daydream pondering on His return!!" - Sarah Kelly
