MxPx's amazing debut, which began the partnership with Tooth & Nail that would help each other become internationally known. Filled to the brim with 21 teenage punk songs (Mike Herrera was a 17-year-old high schooler when this album was released in 1994), this album is a glimpse into the gift of songwriting Mike had even at an early age. The majority of the songs are more raw and heavy than any later MxPx album, showing the influence of the hardcore punk scene that gave birth to the band, while songs like "Want Ad" are just as catchy as any Beatles song, and showcases the pop melodies that would become MxPx's staple and make them one of the most famous Christian rock bands of all time.
- Russ T. Shipp of the band Rusty Shipp
