#9. Leigh Nash
The State I'm In
Release Date: September 18, 2015
 |
Leigh Nash possesses one of my favorite voices in music. Her previous solo effort centered around hymns, but now the singer is taking things back to her own roots by doing a country album of sorts. While country isn't exactly my cup of tea, I'm still eager to hear some new tunes from Leigh this fall.

The last Sixpense album was a bit underwhelming for these ears (and for many other fans), but Nash's last few solo works have carried the flame of that classic band. I'm hoping for a surprise return for Leigh here.

You can't ever count out Leigh Nash. While a country album is a curious choice, I could see her vocal style fitting well to create a homemade and comfortable atmosphere, just like a country album should. The State I'm In ought to be a treat this fall.
