Empty Smith cover
05. Take Pride
Album: Empty Smith
Artist: Empty Smith

On the dark day of trouble He'll answer you
'Cause He's the God of Jacob faithful and true
From His sanctuary He sends help to lift and carry through
On the dark day of trouble He'll answer you

Some take pride in their chariots
Some take pride in the strength of their horse
We take pride in our faithful Jesus
We take pride in the name of the Lord

When the dark clouds arisen "Hail to the King!"
Lift up high your banners shout forth and sing
'Cause He won't forget His faithful love or all your offerings
When the dark clouds arisen "Hail to the King!"

Sometimes the victory's impossible to see
And troubles make you want to run and hide
By His commands through faith we stand
We take our heart. We take our pride
