There are times in my life where I wonder if I've really got what it takes
When the journey gets weary with worry and my heart's running empty on faith
Roads get longer and gravity stronger. I'm tempted to just make it through
Drifting aimless away from my purpose to do what He called me to do

Sometimes I need reminding

Those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength
They will soar on the wind
They will run and not weary. They'll walk and not faint
They will rise up again

I've had friends who I'd swear in the end would be standing with me 'fore the Throne
Run away for the pleasure or pain. Leave their faith. Try to make it alone
So you pray and they go their own way. Gotta let people be who they are
But the leaving it ain't without grieving when they take with a piece of your heart

Though I may weary though I may stray
He never tires. He lights my way
