Behind the Song:
How many times have I felt just like David in some of his most heart wrenching psalms. Those historic works of poetry are much more than just fluffy devotional readings you know. They are some of the most vulnerable and honest prayers we have in Scripture. For me, they have been great witnesses as to how I not only can, but should cry up to God with every emotion that’s within me; even the “not so Christian” ones.

Save Me, while certainly not the main song of the album, definitely serves as the thematic focal point which the rest of the songs center around: transparent, expressive heart cries to the only one who can truly sympathize and actually do something eternal on our behalf: God.
