“This was also an early song in the collection. I vividly remember sitting in a gross venue in the middle of the country, and attempting to call Lauren, but couldn't reach her. When I looked at my phone after hanging up, it said "Lauren: 75 Outgoing Calls". I thought, Wow, I'm crazy! The chorus kind of goes along with what I was writing about in "Dear Future", but in this case directing it as a prayer God--"Overshadow me, take me from this place You found me in.
