I’m growing tired of a mouth shut tight
When all I want to do is
Tell the whole world about the man sitting
At the right hand of the One in heaven
How could I sing
About anything but him?
Chorus:
He is the answer to the question
He is the cure for the infection
He is all he says he is
He is the ultimate reflection
Of holiness and true perfection
He is all he says he is
How can I not cry?
Watching as the world dies
Without a prayer
They run to their own gods, roughshod
Blind to the living God of earth and heaven
How could they sing
Of everything but him?
Chorus

Behind the Song:"Written way back in October 1999, this song was born out of frustration and subsequently had a frustrating life before it finally was chosen for this new record. In mid-1999, Tree63 (or Tree as we still were then) went on a hiatus when I felt the Lord tell me to stop music until He'd worked some things out in my life. After two months or so I was beginning to feel the frustration of obeying God when there was so much I wanted to say about Him – hence the first line of this song. The chorus began as a poem listing the things God is, rhyming the word "question" all the way through. We made the demo for this song in 2001, but it was left off The Life & Times. Now its time has come!" - John Ellis (
