"The love of God is the center of all we are in Christ. It is the key to personal and corporate growth in the body of Christ, and it is something we know will never disappoint or fade away. The Bible tells us that nothing can separate us from the love of God – death, life, angels, demons, fears and worries, and even the power of hell can’t. God’s love surpasses the powers of all these things, and if we hold onto His love we cannot be torn away from him!
God’s love for us is also our inspiration to love Him and to love others. We love because He first loved us (1 John 4:19). His love is intended to come alive in us, and it is this love that is the most important thing. Anything “great” without God’s love is not great.
