One of the few silver linings of the fallout at Mars Hill Church in Seattle was Kings Kaleidoscope. Modern worship mixed with some hints of gospel and jazz helped form Kings Kaleidoscope’s unique sound. Becoming Who We Are was an incredible full-length debut which caught the ears of many who were tired of the same-old, formulaic worship music. Chad Gardner and band’s subsequent releases would probably find themselves on this list had they been on the Tooth & Nail label as well.
